The show is very funny and very entertaining. The books seem an unintelligent Chucklehead cobbled together after the dream of an art concept. Frankly, the founder of Dexter is eligible for a concept of personality but rather his talent as a novelist ... yikes. His idea of Dexter is moist without spirit, no liveliness and seems to be a simple Schmo who is digging gain.
